Hudson Center for Contemporary Arts (HCCA), founded in 2012, is a contemporary arts organization located in Poughkeepsie, New York, operating as part of Arts Mid-Hudson (AMH), a longstanding New York State arts association with a decades-long commitment to cultural programming in the Hudson Valley. HCCA’s mission is to advance contemporary artistic practice through exhibitions, public education, and cross-cultural exchange, connecting visiting artists and arts professionals with regional institutions and communities.
HCCA’s International Visiting & Residency Program supports outstanding arts professionals—including artists, curators, writers, poets, and art faculty/students—through structured professional exchange. Activities may include artist dialogue and public lectures, exhibitions and panel discussions, museum and gallery research visits (“Art Journey”), site-based creation (“Creating Away from Home”), and studio visits with local artists. Depending on project scope and curatorial review, participants may be considered for solo or collaborative exhibitions.
