Open Call: 2026 HCCA International Visiting & Residency
HCCA is now accepting inquiries for the 2026 International Visiting & Residency program. We welcome applications from outstanding arts professionals seeking focused time for research, site-based creation, and professional exchange in New York City and the Hudson Valley, with HCCA based in Poughkeepsie, New York.
Who Should Apply
- Visual artists (including ceramics, printmaking, installation, painting, mixed media)
- Curators and cultural organizers
- Writers and poets engaging with art and culture
- University faculty and students (art-related fields)
Program Highlights
- Curated NYC museum and gallery research visits (“Art Journey”)
- Studio visits and peer exchange with Hudson Valley artists
- Opportunities aligned with ceramics and printmaking practices
- Open studio moments (when scheduled) to share process and works-in-progress
- Public programs (artist talks, panels, interviews) and exhibition pathways when appropriate and subject to curatorial planning
